We built the intelligence platform the UK aesthetic market needed.

AestheticIQ is a UK-based intelligence platform for the companies that sell into the aesthetic ecosystem: pharma, medical devices, professional skincare, distributors, training providers, and investors. We exist because nobody else had built it.

THE THESIS

Why now.

The UK aesthetic market is a £3 billion commercial channel hiding in plain sight. 15,000 clinics. 25,000 practitioners. Fragmented ownership. No consolidated source of truth. No purpose-built data infrastructure. No serious intelligence platform designed for the companies that actually sell into it.

Generalist healthcare data providers have always treated aesthetics as a rounding error. IQVIA OneKey, designed for GPs and hospitals, barely captures the channel. CQC, Save Face, JCCP: each capture a slice. Booking platforms are consumer-facing. Google Maps is a directory. Nobody had built the thing that was needed.

Meanwhile the UK sector is becoming more important, not less. The Health and Care Act 2022 will introduce licensing for non-surgical cosmetic procedures by 2027. Injectables, devices, and cosmeceutical skincare are all experiencing structural growth. And the companies selling into this space, from multinational pharma to independent training providers, need the same quality of commercial intelligence they have for every other healthcare channel.

AestheticIQ was built to fill that gap. Not as a generalist database with an aesthetic section, but as a UK-aesthetic-native platform designed specifically for how this market works, the buyers who sell into it, and the regulatory framework that is reshaping it.

We do one thing. We do not cover primary care, hospitals, or the NHS. Those are adequately served by generalist data providers. UK aesthetics is all we build for, and our depth shows.

Primary research beats pure scraping

The strongest data point is one the clinic owner has verified directly. Our dataset is continuously augmented by primary research from clinics themselves, a depth no scrape-only competitor can replicate.

Regulatory-aware by design

Compliance is not a feature we bolted on. Every field is structured around the regulatory frameworks that matter: MAH obligations, CAP Code, licensing tiers, GMC/NMC credentials. Because our customers are audited against those frameworks.

UK-first, deep rather than broad

Our focus is the United Kingdom. Not because we cannot see the value of international coverage, but because depth in one market beats thin coverage across many for the buyers we serve.

THE TEAM

Specialist by design.

AestheticIQ operates as a specialist intelligence company, small by design, deep by discipline. Our core team handles platform development, data operations, customer engagement, and pharmacovigilance analysis. We extend reach through a network of advisors and delivery partners in marketing services, clinical validation, and commercial consulting.

Our founder spent three years at IQVIA working on OneKey, the industry-standard healthcare professional database, giving AestheticIQ direct insight into how pharmaceutical companies procure, integrate, and operationalise reference data. That experience shapes how we build, but it is the specialism that defines us: we do one thing, and we do it deeper than anyone else.

As we scale post-seed, the team expands in three directions: a dedicated commercial and account-management function, a data-engineering team to support API and integration customers, and a pharmacovigilance specialist to lead the Compliance and PV product.

OUR CONSUMER BRAND

ClinicScore · the free clinic intelligence tool.

AestheticIQ operates a free consumer-facing brand called ClinicScore: a personalised intelligence report for UK clinic owners. It is modelled loosely on the ClearScore / Experian approach. Clinics receive a benchmarking report of their local competitive position, digital presence, pricing, and regulatory readiness, for free.

In exchange, clinic owners verify their own data, update treatment information, and confirm practitioner details. This closes the loop that pure web scraping cannot, converting clinic-owner intent into a primary-research data flywheel that strengthens the AestheticIQ dataset used by our B2B customers.

ClinicScore and AestheticIQ are operated as separate brands with separate domains. The B2B platform is available at aestheticiq.co.uk; the clinic-facing tool at clinicscore.co.uk.

WHERE WE'RE HEADED

Looking ahead.

The UK aesthetic market will consolidate, professionalise, and regulate over the next three years, and the companies selling into it will need better intelligence, not less of it.

Our priorities over the coming 24 months centre on deepening the dataset, broadening the customer base, and building the integrations that make AestheticIQ a native part of our customers' commercial and regulatory workflow.

Deeper data

Expanding primary-research coverage through ClinicScore, adding new treatment categories as they emerge, and building out the practitioner-credentials layer.

Broader customers

Scaling across all six industries we serve, starting from our core in pharma and injectables, into devices, skincare, distributors, training, and investors.

Native integrations

Shipping production-ready Veeva CRM, Salesforce, and PV case-management integrations, so AestheticIQ becomes part of the commercial infrastructure.
